ORIGINS
The original seedling was discovered around 1890 in a private garden in West Virginia / USA, and nowadays is grown all over the world.
PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS
The Golden Delicious fruit varies from greenish to golden yellow. The fruits originating from hilly areas are characterized by their distinguishing red marks on one side. The apples are from average to large size and longer than average in length.

The Golden Delicious variety is sweet,and juicy, fragrant and slightly tart.
